Default NETELLER VERIFICATION EMAIL..ADVISE REQUIRED

has anyone else recived this email from neteller regarding verification of their account...i recived the same email from the same email address last month,i responded via the email sent...i think that may have been a "DOH" moment......i also verified my bank details at the neteller site....the reply from the email said the pics were not clear enough,but the action i took within the neteller site was successful...i have even withdrawn funds from neteller without any probs...

now this morning i opened my emails and there are 2 from the same email i had before...one yesterday and one this morning....2 in succession makes me suspicious...here is a copy of the email...

    • An issue date within the last 3 months
    • All four corners of the bill/statement (i.e. no cropping)
Acceptable utility bill statements include landline phone, heating, water, electricity, cable TV, internet and municipal government correspondence.
  1. Email your digital photos or scans as attachments to validate@neteller.com.

First of all I would remove your real name and the private email adress of yours.

I had such mails from neteller before and they once closed my account till I sent the desired papers. They wanted a bill from my electricity. Most time I talked with the live support (they have a 0800 number so there are no costs) to sort things out quickly.

If you go to the Neteller site directly, you see the same thing. So I am afraid we will have to do something if we want to keep on using Neteller.

I had the same email bud. With the current credit crunch I'm sure alot of people are withdrawing their money through neteller and they're doing their best to make sure there's no fraudulent activity

I just contacted Netelleer live support to confirm this is all genuine etc (but more to ask why they need docs after i sent them last year), was advised i was 16th in the queue with a waiting time of 29 mins.

So after having me dinner etc i come back to speak to an operator, only for them to be disconnected before answering my question.

So if anyo9ne wants to do the same, good luck, and remember to have a good supply of food/drink and a stress ball handy for when the inevitable happens

this is probably genuine but would not send any details till i spoke to live support and got it verified as genuine.better safe than sorry.
