New problem.

This time it is my desktop that is playing up.
When I try to open BBC iPlayer I get the message that the adobeAIR application is damaged.
I have tried to re-install but get the message that it is already installed.
So I uninstall and then re-install but still it is damged.
Any suggestions.
It does not stop me playing poker badly.

Download a free program called C Cleaner and use that to remove the program, it should do a more thorough job.

Then reinstall the program and hopefully it will work.

C Cleaner also has a registry fix on it, it might be worth doing that too before you reinstall the program.

For some reason it refuses to uninstall adobeAir.
I also tried the C Cleaner system restore, got the checkpoints but it would not run.
Think I'll take the dog for a walk and calm down.

take the laptop and the desk top and put them on the floor and let the dog chew on them for a while and then try again if that dont work throw the whole bloody mess in the garbage

Reboot into safe mode. (Tap f8 key when booting up). When it does its checks it should ask if you want to run system restore from there. Try that. Sometimes its better not to be booted all the way into windows as some of windows processes stop other ones from running when they become corrupt.

I have tried that but got no system restore option.
Tried all the other options as well but still got adobeAIR installed but damaged.
When I downloaded BBC iPlayer there was no adobeAIR installed and it worked fine.
My new laptop is arriving on Wednesday.
Will put BBC iPlayer on that and just use this desktop to play poker.
