The Great WassOnline Rake Race!

The WassOnline rake race is open to members of WassOnline who have filled out their WassPoker profile field only! If you are unsure how to do this, please click here. If you have not filled it out, you will not be eligible, so please make sure you do! (You can join the rakerace at any point during the month)

The rules are very simple, the top raking members will be awarded prizes based on the paytable below. Updates of the current standings will be posted in this thread so that people can see where they are in the listings.

For those of you who are not used to playing ring games and want to give it a try - we are setting up private ring games for WassOnline members only! These will be online from next month, and will be found in the lobby, and password protected.

Rake Points

Rake points are what we use to 'score' the race. This is a specially created scoring system that factors in both ring games and tournaments to create the 'rake points' score. It is done to give a more accurate race, and to allow users to keep a track of where they are in the race. Whilst this system doesn't update automatically, it is updated very frequently. Side-game bets are not taken into account in this - it is a pure poker race!

Other rules

If you are taking place in a rakerace on WassPoker for another site you will not be eligible for this one.

If WassPoker suspects collusion or manipulation to gain an unfair advantage, then you can be removed from the race

Just the ticket Doc, I think this is what we all been waiting for. I love the idea of tourney players getting the same deal as in the ring games, and the WassOnline ring games, if I'm going to lose $$$ then I'd rather it be to a Wasser..
Thank you Doc and your staff for the all the time and effort you are putting in for us Wassers. I think it is coming together very nicely for us.

Props to all the staff for making this place somewhere that n00bs like me are made to feel welcome I've been here a month now and I love the place, I'm going to quite happily recommend Wass to people I'll come across in future, and friends I've already met, as I feel right at home here. I joined at slightly short notice to attend Birmingham in June, but rest assured, I will be at the next WUKPT by hook or by crook (or possibly via a Satellite ) if possible. Really looking forward to losing my stack and being schooled at the Wass only ring games too!
