I know this is a dumb question, but what do the stars indicate on people's avatars on the poker site?
I've asked lots of people i've been playing against and got lots of different answers.

They are just for regular play. It does tell you about them in your player admin somewhere

I dunno either,I thought it had to do with pokerpoints.Sometimes it tells ya when you run yr mouse over them.Id like to know the real answer too.

The stars has to do with your comp points. The more compoints you have the more stars you got.

Typical question from a new player

Only real money players has stars. You can collect comp points and spend it in the shop. But you can get stars if you play many-many hands at real money ring games or on real money tournaments. ( at cash tables you can earn comp points a lot more easier than on tournaments)

P.S. and "the site" is the part of the Merge Gaming Network - there are other online clients where stars can be seen.

OK found it. This is what it says in player admin FAQ section about stars

What are Stars? And how do I get them?

The stars are awarded to loyal players and represent a player's ranking and accolades. Players earn stars by accumulating points. Points are earned by playing games, by playing tournaments and by winning good hands. Players can earn up to 3 bronze, silver or gold stars.
