I use my laptop for a play toy and do most of my work on the desktop. Being a taxprofessional I opted for the 17" screen with the full keyboard setup. I like the touchpad its more ergonomical than the mouse for me.

When I purchased my latest computer I looked for the refurbished machines with vedors at a 99% or better rating at ebay and a 90 warranty.

BTW when you buy a machine use it all the time during that warranty period. If it makes it 90 days it will probably last 5 years or more.

I shoped for the buy it nows, it was very frustrating to loose auctions in the last 2 minutes.

Bottom line is for about a $100 more than a new Netbook you can have a full function laptop with 100mb or more hard drive, 1g memory and operating at 2mhz or better speed.

BTW I bought mine after Cashing out for the first time my online poker winnings. I hope I can finance my vacation this year. Lord I love my penny poker. I will have to move on up one day.

One last thought ask for money and buy the reloadable Visa Cards. That way you can buy your pc and fund your poker room account.

yup...i was right....although it did last 2 more months....i used it last wednesday afternoon....then went to switch it on about 7pm again but when i did it began to smoke heavily from the grill on the side...where the processor is i beleive....managed to salvage the hard drive (if i can find somewhere to retreive the info from it)...the memory and the battery which i had bought brand new....this is why i have been rarely online this last week as my son comandeers the desktop lol.....im looking at new ones thou...
