New member? Welcome!
When you start to post, don't be afraid, it is, perhaps a bit like going in to a bar in a strange town or country. Take a little time to assess the "feel" of the place (ie. read the rules, read some of what other, more established, people have said).
Introduce yourself... not all of us read the intro section, but when you first post, it can do no harm to preface with "I am new here, but...."
Please don't try to make 10 posts in 5 minutes, it merely annoys people.

Don't be shy about your language skills, some members here are Welsh, and we put up with them.
VERY IMPORTANT:
Just because you can change the font/colour in which your post will appear it does not mean that you HAVE to change it, or that it makes what you say more interesting, there are members here who insist on a curly font and text in a stupid colour. I routinely ignore their posts, and, more importantly, have less respect for them at the table.
Lastly if you have loads of chips, and I have very few, please do not value call my desperate shove, I would rather the blinds, thank-you.

good post wakou........however i was slightly dismayed by the comment regarding changing font size and colour....as i have fallen foul of this does this mean you no longer,maybe never did lol ,have any respect for me on the tables......

I agree with you alan, good post and a good read, I guess the font thing is personal , though it has nothing to do with how I see ppl at the tables I have caught myself not bothering to read posts in purple, underlined, kursiv written posts with font size 678, or whatever...
Lolz, my "ire" was not directed at either of you. There is a certain lady from the USA whose posting style REALLY p*****s me off, I ignore her posts and bully her at the table.......

Variety is the spice of life. As you all know I love to rant, play crap cards, rant some more, win a bit, lose a lot, laugh and cry. We can't and don't all like the same, films, music, footy teams, people, food or peoples style of play.
Some of us like to add colour and different font sizes and styles to our posts. Some of us like to add cute little pictures or emoticons to our post and some of us like to add a bit of bad language into the mix.
WOULDN'T IT BE BORING IF WE WERE ALL THE SAME

ok let's see if i get this right...im new here on the forum..my font is black and normal size..no curlies or "stupid colors"..i do have a question thought..what do the rating colors mean?
