The rules at Wass Online are discretionary, and are here to improve the forum for everyone. The Moderators and Administrators are responsible for maintaining these rules, and any problems/issues are to be taken up with them.

RESPECT

You will respect every member of this forum. Members need to treat ALL members both new and old with respect. If they believe a person is sponging they contact a Moderator.

This includes respecting all Moderators and Admin, whether on the forum, in Wass games, emails, or Private Messages.

If a mod or admin asks you to control behaviour it is expected that you do.

If you have a problem with a member or staff, please keep it off the forum and private message one of the Admins to deal with it.

Consequences:
Instant warning and infraction will be issued.
Repeated offense will result in being BANNED.

SPAMMING

Spamming is not allowed on the forum. The following is regarded as spamming:

Posting the same message multiple times in different threads
Making posts that have no relevance to the thread they are posted in

Posting lots of times in quick succession, as a guide don’t post in multiple threads in an unreasonable amount of time.

Also posting consecutively in the same thread. Use the edit button if you missed something out. If you need to answer more than one question, use the quote feature

Do NOT come onto the forum asking for Passwords.
Do NOT pm members asking for Passwords.

Consequences:

If you are regarded as spamming your posts will be deleted and you will be warned and told how you have spammed. If you then persist in spamming you will be banned from the forum. Consecutive posts will be merged. If you persist in making consecutive posts you will be warned.

Flaming and Trolling

Flaming:
Insulting other members will NOT be tolerated, whether it is a mild flame (such as calling someone an "idiot") or a more severe one.

There is obviously discretion used here. A post calling someone a ‘Donk’ or similar is not classed as flaming.
If you disagree with someone's opinion, do not attack that person for posting that opinion.
Instead either explain your reasons for playing the way you did or do not reply at all.

As we are a gambling forum, arguments will happen over how people play etc. This is acceptable as long as it does not get out of hand, and if a moderator has to close a thread, do NOT start the argument up somewhere else.

Also, do not respond to a flame with a flame. You cannot flame people and then claim to have been defending yourself. If you have a complaint, notify a moderator or admin rather than responding yourself.

Trolling:

This means you're not posting to participate in a discussion, but simply to anger other members or to provoke an argument.

Consequences:
If you continually insult members, restart posts that have been closed or troll other members disagreements:
You will be given a warning, after that you will be BANNED.

Privacy

Do not post members real-identity unless they have agreed.

Do not post private messages (pm's) on the open forum without prior consent. These are exactly what they mean...PRIVATE

Private Messages that are abusive or threatening in any way, shape or form can be automatically reported to admin without prior consent.

Consequences:
You can/will be BANNED.

Soliciting/Advertising

Do not post to sell or endorse a product or web site.

Do not post affiliate links without the permission of a Moderator or Administrator.

Do not PM or contact other members with the intention of promoting 3rd party sites for personal gain either through affiliate links or other.

Do not ask members for money. Wass is not responsible for any lost funds.

Consequences:
Links will be removed by Admin.
You will be warned and can/will be BANNED.

No Obscene/Pornographic Images
We are a gaming forum, and as such any images of an obscene/pornographic nature will be removed.

Consequences:
Posts will be deleted and you will be warned.
Continual Rule breakage will result in a BAN.
