Ace-High - A five card hand with no pair or above but containing an ace.
Aces-full - A full house that has containing aces over any pair
Aces up - Two pairs, one of which is aces
Action - The betting
Active Player - Any player still invloved in the hand
Add-on - The option to purchase more chips in certain special tournaments
Advertise - To make a deliberate bluff with the intention of being shown as a loose player
All-in - When a player bets all of their remaining chips
Ante - A token bet required in some instances and some forms of poker required before the start of a hand
