Call - To match the previous bet
Call cold - To call a bet and raise at once
Calling station - A player who invariably calls, and is therefore hard to bluff
Cap - In limit games, the limit on the number of raises in a single round
Cash in - To convert chips into cash
Cash out - To leave a game and cash in your chips
Chase - To stay in against an apparently stronger hand in the hopes of hitting a straight or flush (usually)
Check - To choose not to bet if you don't have to
Check-Raise - To check and raise in a single round of betting
Chop - To return the blinds to the players that posted them if no-one calls or raises them
Cinch hand - Unbeatable hand; the nuts
Closed hand - A hand where all the cards are hidden from opponents
Coffee housing - Trying to mislead opponents by means of lying or misleading behaviour
Cold - If a players cards have 'gone cold', then he is on a bad/loosing streak
Cold call - To call a raise without having commited any chips to the pot previously
Cold deck - A fixed deck
Come over the top - To raise or re-raise an opponents bet
Commit fully - To put as many chips as necessary to play your hand to river - even if it means going all in
Community cards - In flop games, the cards dealt face up in the center of the table that are shared by all active players
Connectors - Consecutive cards which might be used to make a straight
Cowboy - Nickname for a King
Crack - To beat a powerful hand
Cut it up - Splitting a pot after a tie
