Main pot - When a player goes all in, that player is only eligible to win the main pot. this consists of all the bets that they have the money to match. Any other bets are placed in a side pot, and are contested amongst the remaining players

Make a move - Try a bluff

Maniac - A vey aggressive player who plays hands that other players may not even consider

Marker - An IOU; a note of debt

Mechanic - A cheat who manipulates the cards

Meet - To call

Middle pair - In flop games, a middle pair is made by pairing the middle card on the flop

Middle position - A position on a round of betting somewhere in the middle

Miss - To have not made the hand you were hoping to nce all cards are dealt

Monster - A hand that is almost certain to win

Move in - to go all-in

Muck - To discard a hand without showing the other players
