How do I create a new league?

- Click here to be taken to the register league screen. If you are not a member of WassOnline already, you will need to sign up. If you are a member, then it will ask you to log in. - From here, you should begin to add your players to the league. Do this by clicking the ‘Add new player’ button.
- After clicking on the ‘Add new player’ button, a small window should open up, that looks like this;

- Here you can enter the players name, and their WassPoker username. The WassPoker username is a required field, and if you want the automatic update to work properly, you must make sure that it is correctly entered. You can edit all of these fields at any time once you have saved, so don’t worry about editing in future. Once you are happy, to confirm the user in the league, click save. The small window should close, and the player should be added to the league, like this;

- You can now repeat step 3 to add as many players as you wish to your league. To edit any of the players you have added, simply click on the data you wish to change and enter in your changes. To delete a player, click on the ‘delete’ button next to that users data.

How do I automatically update my league?
In order to automatically update your league, you must first ensure you have your league set up correctly and that you have a scoring system set up correctly. If you are unsure on either of these, then please review the ‘How do I create a new league?’ and the ‘How do I create a custom points structure?’ areas first.
The automatic league update is a feature that is design to work exclusively with WassPoker, and eliminates the need for you to spend hours updating points and winnings in your league.
- Click here to be taken to the ‘Import league results’ area.
- From the import area, please select which league you would like to update, and what points system you would like to use (for more information on the points system click here). Then click submit.
- It will now ask you to enter the URL from where the game results are stored on WassPoker. To find this, click on the ‘More details and results’ button in your tournaments information area of WassPoker. Please see the images below for guidance;

- Copy and paste the URL from the page that opens into the box on WassPoker, and click ‘Generate’. This will automatically import all of the data into your league, and update the points and winnings. If there are usernames in the data you are importing that do not exist in the league, it will add them as new players. If you wish to delete any of the players at this point, then simply click the delete button next to that players data.
- Enter a name for the game that you have just imported and the game date, if you wish. Stored data will be available for review later. Once you are happy that your league is up to date, click the ‘Save and update your league’ button. This will update all the sites where you league is displayed also (can take up to 10 minutes)
I have updated my league, but its not showing as updated on my website, why is this?
It can take up to 10 minutes for the results to be filtered out to the feeds, so please make sure you have given it some time. If the results still don’t update, then please check that they have updated on the WassOnline site. If they have not updated there, the most likely problem is that it has not saved the data, and you will need to update your leagues again. If it has saved the data, please contact support as it will be a feed-related issue.
How do I set up games on WassPoker?
To set up games for your league, please click here to be taken to the ‘Request tournaments’ form. Please fill out this form as accurately as possible, as it will be used to create your game. If you have any problems with any of the sections, please look below for an explaination of each area;

Tournament description; A brief description of the tournament. It would be helpful for your players if you included the name of the league, for example.

Table configurations/Breakdowns; This is how many players you would like to sit at each table, and if you would like ‘Regular’ or ‘Shootout’ tables. Regular tables will automatically balance to maintain an even number of players on each table. Shootout tables only allow a set, user defined amount of players to advance. The default is regular tables with 10 players.
Minimum players; This is the minimum players needed for the game to start. This cannot be lower than 2.
Maximum players; The maximum amount of players you permit in your game. This is limited to 2000, although if you contact us it can be increased.
Starting chips per player; How many chips you wish each of your players to start with. This is limited to 3000 for all games with a buy-in of less than $10, and 5000 with a buy-in of less than $50. If over $50, you can have up to 10,000 chips.
Tournament buyin ($) and entry fee ($); This is the amount the players must pay to enter the tournament. The entry fee is usually 10% of the buy-in, but you can leave this blank if you are unsure. The minimum buyin is $1 with a $0.10 fee.
Tournament scheduling options; This allows you to choose whether you want this to be a one-off game, a daily game, weekly or monthly. Please choose the relevant option.
Start time; This must be entered in WassPoker time, as displayed next to the input box.
Start date; The date you would like the tournament to run. If running daily/weekly/monthly, it’s the date that you wish your tournaments to start running.
Best contact e-mail; Please provide a contact e-mail so that we can reach you if there are any problems with the tournament.
Once you are happy with your set up, please click the ‘Click here to request this game at WassPoker’ button. Your request will then be sent to the WassPoker support team, and your game set up. Please be aware that it can take 3-4 working days to process, so please submit your game requests with plenty of time to spare!
How do I create a custom points structure?
Creating a custom payout structure is vital if you wish to use the automatic league update feature.
The function of the custom payout is to let the league updating system know how many points you wish to award to each finishing position. You can create as many as you wish, and you can use any saved points structure for any of the leagues that you have running.

- Click here to be taken to the point structures management area.
- Enter the total amount of points that you wish to be distributed amongst the winners
- Enter the amount of positions that you wish to be paid
- Hit the ‘Generate’ button
- You should now be able to view your payout table. You can adjust the amount paid to each place manually, or, if you want to generate a new table, simply repeat steps 2,3 and 4.
- When you are happy with your pay structure, enter a name for it and click the ‘save’ button.
How do I manually update/adjust my league?
As well as the automatic updates, you can also manually update your leagues. To do this, click here to be taken to the admin area of your account, and then select which of your leagues you would like to update. Once you have selected, click ‘Edit/View’ to be taken to the editing page.
Once in the editing page, you can manage any aspect of your league table. To edit any of the parts, simply click on the field that you wish to edit and enter your changes. Once you are happy, click save. If you make a mistake, and wish to reset to your last save, simply click ‘Cancel all’. |
